Tertiary intervention in Milan - demolition and reconstruction of a 3,000 sqm office building on a former industrial site.
The project entails the complete demolition and reconstruction of two existing buildings, replaced by a single volume with a uniform height that follows the angular perimeter of the block.
The lot's strategic position, at the corner of the street and next to the flyover, offers a remarkable opportunity to create a visually striking experience for those traveling on the flyover, with dynamic views unfolding as they approach Milan.
The facade design above the base is articulated through a hierarchical layering system. A grid structure provides a cohesive urban-scale design, while metal mesh elements on the facade create a dynamic interplay of double-order patterns, defining the elevation and enhancing the architectural rhythm.
The project also includes the design of green spaces, defined by organic shapes, flowing pathways, and gentle undulations.
